How do I choose the right therapist? Successful therapy stems from a trusting relationship between client and clinician. Consider someone who has the skill set and experience that you are looking for. Years of practice are a critical element of skill in this space. A consultation phone call can be a helpful way to start this conversation. Some potential questions to get started : -how long have you been providing therapy? -what is your style and skill set? -what can I expect from our sessions?
